The rules (if you're new):
1. Write a short story inspired by this picture.
2. The story must be 1,000 words or less.
3. I'll post them next week and throw it open to comments.

    This fascinated me. What a photo. Do we email you our stories - I'm going to participate. Frankly, I spent the better part of the day writing it - I just couldn't get the story out of my head so it had to go onto the monitor!

    I have no idea, either. I have it lined up in the mental queue behind finish Project 1 and Project 2. I wish I didn't have such a one-track mind, but if I can pull off a couple mega-writing days, I really want to participate this month. When's the latest we can turn it in, again?
