Thanks! We also went out on Lake Michigan salmon fishing and did pretty well (2 big chinook), but I caught this guy from a dock. I'm actually white-knuckling his tail here because he was definitely angry. For the record, I released him.
Yeah ... he was an eating fish, and I don't have problems keeping fish I want to eat, but in this case, there was just no reason for it.
I don't know what the deal is with fish and size, but I will say that this fish was actually much bigger than it appears. You just can't see his back. :)

Jon, that's a great picture! It'll back up your fish story when you say, "It was THIS big." (Fish and size. What's the deal with that? lol)
